ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Junior/ Intermediate Web Data Visualization Developer to join our Web team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll help build customer-facing data visualizations and reporting experiences inside InnerSpace’s multi-tenant SaaS portal.

You’ll work from customer requirements, write or adapt SQL queries, and quickly turn data into clear, useful charts and dashboards. Speed of development is important: you should be comfortable using AI coding tools to generate graph templates, iterate quickly, test your work, and commit clean code.

This is a great role for someone with 1–5 years of experience who is enthusiastic, resourceful, eager to learn, and motivated to become productive quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build customer-facing charts, dashboards, and reporting views in the InnerSpace portal.
• Work with React, JavaScript, and graphing libraries such as D3, Observable Plot, or similar tools.
• Write and adapt SQL queries to support reporting and visualization needs.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, useful data visualizations.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Copilot to speed up development and iteration.
• Test, refine, and commit code using Git.
• Track work, requirements, and progress in Jira.
• Validate data before it is shown to customers, including filters, date ranges, IDs, row counts, and metric definitions.
• Collaborate with Web, Product, Customer Success, and Data teams to clarify requirements and deliver useful reporting experiences.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1–5 years of experience in web development, data visualization, analytics, BI/reporting, or a related role.
• Strong JavaScript skills and experience with React.
• Experience with charting or visualization libraries such as D3, Observable Plot, Recharts, Plotly, Chart.js, or similar.
• Solid SQL skills and comfort working with reporting data.
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and Jira or similar task-management tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to ask clear questions.
• Excellent attention to detail when working with customer-facing data.
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, resourcefulness, and a strong desire to learn.
• Comfort using AI tools to iterate quickly and improve productivity.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Auth0, Hasura, Snowflake, Metabase, GoodData, or embedded BI tools.
• Experience building dashboards or reporting tools for SaaS products.
• Understanding of multi-tenant applications, permissions, or customer data isolation.
